Southwest Harbor Congregational Church was the first church body on the island of Mount Desert founded in 1792. We are a “graciously” Reformed congregation that has as its mission to Love the Lord with all our heart, mind, soul and strength, Love each other as Christ loved us and Love the world sacrificially. Our congregation has been brought together from many different denominational backgrounds thus we enjoy a wonderful diversity  that is held together by our love of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
