Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength - (Mark 12:30)

Our goal at SWHCC is to lead God's people to fall in love with their savior.

We do this through the exposition of God's Word from the pulpit and the discussion of His Word in adult and children's Sunday School.

These are the spaces in our body where the Word is taught in an informational and transformational manner.

LOVING GOD

The first and foremost goal for every believer must be to love God. Here at SWHCC, we seek to encourage and develop a loving passion for God through the corporate worship of God’s people. Our worship service focuses on giving back to God what He so richly deserves, the praise, adoration, passion and love of His people. We seek to do this through a blended style of worship (see sample order of worship) which is rooted in the orthodox traditions of the past and communicated in a contemporary context.

One of the ways that we endeavor to Love God as a body is through memorizing God's Word. As a body, we memorize several texts each year.

This year we are memorizing Ephesians 4:11-16 in three parts.

Please joins us in our endeavor!

Ephesians 4:13-14

until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, 14 so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes.

Congregational Memory Verse (Sept to Dec)

Ephesians 4:15-16

Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, 16 from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.
