Southwest Harbor Congregational Church

The Residency program at Southwest Harbor Congregational Church is likened to an apprenticeship. The resident will spend up to two years working alongside the pastor and elders and among the congregation studying and learning how to effectively shepherd a flock. 

The residency is very specifically aimed at populating New England and more specifically the state of Maine with committed, well-trained, Gospel-centered pastors, so an applicant should have a sense of calling to this geography.
